Here’s a screenshot of a video that Microsoft made showing us what their future vision of technology will be. This handheld device is my favourite, and I think its UI is beautiful. I recommend the subway scene from the video in order for you to truly understand what I mean.

I use Bose headphones not because they have a Bose logo on them, but because they sound awesome, and they fold up neatly to fit in my bag. Simple as that.

The Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus - the best way to experience Android, because it’s how Google wants you to experience Android. Yes, a little Apple-esque (not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just a little ironic given the context) but unlike Apple, Google treats you like an adult and doesn’t hold your hand through the process of using their OS.

A lot of designers are big fans of Apple; while I’m dubious about the company’s mobile devices, there’s something about a well-setup Mac that excites a part of my brain. People need to appreciate design for what it is, regardless of the logo stuck on the back of the product.
