The Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller. There are few things that could be classed as truly bombproof, and this is one of them. If I ever have a spare ten thousand to spend on a watch, this will be it.

Windows Phone 7. Something that could have been great but just isn’t really going anywhere in my eyes. By far the best UI/UX of any smartphone platform, though.

amprods:

I see why the product exists but at the same time, eBay has plenty of the old models. They mostly work, the cartridges are now more expensive but really.. I’d rather fork out twenty quid each and every time I need memories rather than nearly £200

The Mondaine Swiss railway watch. Beautiful, simple, and ultra-reliable. This is the best way to show people that you’re a punctual person, if being on time for everything in your life just isn’t enough. I’m getting one of these.

Here’s a screenshot of a video that Microsoft made showing us what their future vision of technology will be. This handheld device is my favourite, and I think its UI is beautiful. I recommend the subway scene from the video in order for you to truly understand what I mean.

Sweden’s Hotel of Tree Houses. This only excites me because it takes me back to my childhood again; I mean, after a couple of hours I’d feel sick at the thought of being in a suspended cabin thirty feet up in the air.

The Little Printer, a rather intriguing device with an interesting function. However, I can see the novelty of it wearing off pretty quickly. Unless, of course, I’m looking at it with the wrong attitude.

The white iPad 2. Undoubtedly one of my favourite Apple products, this thing screams out Apple - white looks awesome; it harks back to the old iMac G4. iOS on a big screen is a winner for me.

Everyone copies Apple, but people forget that Apple also copies everyone. Everyone copies each other, and it’s sad that companies can get really petty and childish about it.

Sir Jonathan Ive needs no introduction. The guy’s received a knighthood, and boy does he deserve it.
The Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus - the best way to experience Android, because it’s how Google wants you to experience Android. Yes, a little Apple-esque (not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just a little ironic given the context) but unlike Apple, Google treats you like an adult and doesn’t hold your hand through the process of using their OS.

A lot of designers are big fans of Apple; while I’m dubious about the company’s mobile devices, there’s something about a well-setup Mac that excites a part of my brain. People need to appreciate design for what it is, regardless of the logo stuck on the back of the product.
